I am the Webmaster for Murdo's website and will be involved in the
construction of the Racer. I have loved Unlimited Air Racing since I
first learned about it from my Uncle and my Dad after they went to Reno
in 1973. I went to Reno in 1974 where that love was cemented forever. I
have been involved in one way or another ever since returning to the Air
Races in 1982. Haven't missed one since. Photography has been my passion
and prompted me to make my own website, airraceaddict.com
I served in the Navy as an Antisubmarine
Warfare Operator and was aircrew on P-3 Orions. I went to Tulsa,
Oklahoma after I got out in 1979 and went to Spartan School of
Aeronautics where I obtained my A&P certificate. I moved home to
Boise, Idaho in 1984, and went to work for Horizon Airlines. I have been
with Horizon ever since, and have been in Spokane, Washington since
1993.
It is with humble gratitude that I have been
given the opportunity to be a member of TEAM 51, (a life-long dream),
where my initial responsibilities will be to provide regular progress
reports on building of the Racer, background information of the team
members, items of interest, and update/maintain Murdo's website for
Cameron Aircraft, Murdo's main business at this time.
I will also have additional responsibilities as
the Racer is constructed. As an active A&P mechanic, I have
volunteered my services as such, in whatever capacity I'm needed. There
will be custom electrical work, hydraulics will be built to fit, and of
course the airframe will need to be assembled. I will do my best to be
involved in all of those projects.

Todd Disrud is an Art Director for a design studio, and also creates
aviation art for corporations and individuals. He was accepted as a charter member of the American Society of Aviation Artists, and
attended the first forums held in Virginia. The United States Air Force invited him to participate in its Art Program, one assignment involving
a trip to Japan.
Another great aviation experience involved flying
cross-country from Spokane, Washington, to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the annual air show in a 2-seat Citabria. He also enjoys aviation
photography and mountain biking. Todd resides in Post Falls, Idaho with his wife, 2 children, 3 cats and 1 neurotic dog.
Todd has been recruited by Murdo as the Team Artist. He is responsible
for designing the team logos, graphics and race plane paint scheme. As a photographer and artist, Todd has his own business, Disrud
Studios, where he displays and sells his work.
Todd is a welcome addition to the team.
