Murdo Cameron believes that the P-51 is the finest aircraft ever built under the speed of sound. He has spent the better part of ten years and the price of 1 1/2 Mustangs, paying the ultimate compliment , to those engineers and aerodynamic engineers, that conceived and built the P-51. Murdo has chosen the culmination of 11 different P-51 variants to duplicate, at half the weight of the P-51D. It has twice the climb rate and will have you at your destination 40% faster, at a fraction of the operating cost and 1/2 the price of the original.
Murdo has not stopped dreaming. He now has a proposal for a new unlimited racer. He believes that with its lightweight composite construction and an Allison or Merlin up front, it could be a real contender.

Bob Friederichs is one of 25 aerospace experts that has contributed his expertise and time to the project. Murdo also has had 3.2 million dollars worth of composite material donated by major composite manufactures. He has completed all hi-temp graphite tooling. |
